1-1 Mentoring/SEND with PSP

Our bespoke 1:1 mentoring programme is designed to support pupils who may be at
risk of disengagement, have SEND needs, experience social, emotional and mental
health challenges, or face barriers to learning and participation. Through trusted
relationships, targeted interventions, and the power of sport and physical activity, we
help young people develop confidence, resilience, self-regulation, and positive
attitudes towards school. Our mentoring supports key school priorities including
attendance, behaviour, personal development, pupil wellbeing, and inclusion,
enabling pupils to overcome challenges, realise their potential, and achieve positive
outcomes both within education and throughout their wider lives.

“Leaders are consistent in making sure that any barriers children face are swiftly identified” (Ofsted, 2026).

“Excellent support is in place for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)” (Ofsted, 2026)."

We regularly check in with children during our holiday camps to understand how they're feeling emotionally. These one-to-one conversations help us provide the right support, build confidence, and ensure every child enjoys a positive experience.

We recognise that children sometimes need a moment to themselves. Our quiet reflection space allows children to explore their feelings, practise emotional regulation, and access support from staff whenever needed.

Positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our coaches build trust through encouragement, praise, and meaningful connections, helping children feel valued and supported. By closely monitoring behaviour and wellbeing, we can celebrate positive choices, provide guidance when needed, and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

At PSP, we adapt activities to meet individual needs, ensuring every child can participate, have fun, and feel part of the group. With years of experience, we understand the importance to be versatile and to allow all children to engage.
